Today we will explore the highlights of Trabzon City, the most attractive points: 13th century Byzantine church St. Sophia Museum, Ataturk ‘s Mansion, Boztebe Hill, Ladies Bazaar, Sera Lake. Lunch at a seaside restaurant serving famous Akçaabat Meatball. In the afternoon we drive to Uzungöl (long lake). It’s a hidden paradise in the Pontic Alps. We hike around the lake and village and check-in to our wooden hotel, dinner and overnight at Hotel. (B)
Today we are leaving from Uzungöl. Short break at Rize for panoramic view of the city from the Botanic Garden, then we arrive to Firtina (Storm) Valley which takes us to Ayder Plateau. Before arriving in Ayder we will see Camlýhemþin, Konaklar, Senyuva Bridge, Zil Kale. Gentle trekking to Goksu Fall which is the highest and most beautiful in the region. overnight in Trabzon at Hotel. (B)
Pick up from your hotel in Trabzon around 08:30am. We will drive to Giresun Castle to enjoy its panoramic view of Giresun city. We will also visit Topal Osman Aga’s Mausoleum, who is the commander of Giresun’s trop of guardsmen during the Turkish War of Independence. Our next stop will be Ordu. We will climb to Boztepe by cable car to see the panoramic view of Ordu. After lunch, we will visit Civisiz Mosque and Pasaoglu Mansion which is the indicator of glory in its period. You will have about an hour free time in the city center. Then, we will drive back to Trabzon around 17:00. After tour we drive back to Trabzon Airport for a homebound flight and to say farewell.
